commi.io ("commi", "we") is a marketplace that connects software developers ("Developers") with commission-based sales representatives ("Reps"). commi is an intermediary: contracts for the sale of a Developer's product are concluded between the Developer and their customer. commi is not a party to those sales.
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information, including a valid email address. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.
For each attributed sale, commi charges the Developer a platform fee of 13% of the gross sale amount, and the Rep's commission at the rate the Developer set for the product at the time the match was accepted. Commissions accrue on real payment events reported by Stripe and are collected from the Developer's payment method on file in a monthly billing run, after which Rep payouts are transferred via Stripe. Fully refunded sales are reversed. Product prices listed on commi are provided by Developers; commissions are always calculated on the amounts actually paid by customers.
Reps act as independent contractors. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, partnership or joint-venture relationship between a Rep and commi or between a Rep and a Developer. Reps decide independently whether, when, how and for whom they work, receive no instructions regarding working hours or methods, and are responsible for their own taxes and social contributions.
When promoting a product, Reps must disclose that they earn a commission (e.g. per the FTC Endorsement Guides in the United States), must not make false or misleading claims about products, and must not use spam, misrepresentation or other deceptive practices. Violations may lead to suspension and forfeiture of unaccrued commissions.
Developers must own or be authorized to sell the products they list, keep their Stripe connection and billing card valid, provide accurate product information, and pay collected fees. Chargebacks or persistent payment failure may lead to suspension.
You may close your account at any time; accrued commissions and outstanding fees survive termination and are settled in the next billing cycle. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We may amend these terms with reasonable advance notice by email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
